Lucama: Annie Belle Benson Parrish, 92, was called home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family at home.
Belle was born in Wayne County on January 21, 1926 to the late John Stanley and Minnie Louise Davis Benson. She was married to the late Warren Gamilla Parrish. Belle had a great love for her family, and would go above and beyond to take care of them.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Belle is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Ann Dunn and husband Bruce, Frances P. Worley and husband Glenn, and Jackie Amerson and husband Ray all of Lucama; nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Stanley Warren Parrish, and her sisters and brother.
