Antonio Salazar, 78, of Smithfield, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Antonio was born in San Luis de la Paz, Mexico on June 10, 1943 to the late Jesus Salazar and Virginia Hernandez.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife, Maria Solis Salazar; his children, Juan Salazar, Jesus Salazar, Raul Salazar, Fernando Salazar, Antonio Salazar, Arturo Salazar; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister, and several other family and friends.
Antonio was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. When not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Father Peter Grace officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Price Family Cemetery in Pine Level.
