Barry W. Cottle was born on November 12, 1971, to Jimmy Wright Cottle and Vickie Mae Capps Coats. He departed this earthly life on May 28, 2021.
After attending school, Barry worked most of his life in construction until he relocated to Columbia, SC. He began working at I-Hop on Two Notch Road in Columbia, SC. Barry loved basketball, music, football, and NASCAR. Barry was liked and loved by many.
Barry is preceded in death by his parents and his great-nephew, Hayden Michael-Dale Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters, Jessica C. Higgins and husband, Derrick E. Higgins of Dunn, NC, Tlyee H. Cottle of Benson, NC, Reyvin L. Cottle of Cora, WV, Tracsette Elmore of Cora, WV; his grandchildren, Dakota B. Higgins, Klole-Lynn J. Higgins, Maddox C. Higgins, Anaya G. Cottle, Izaak A. Cottle; his sister, Joy Lynn Valdez, and husband, Levi Valdez of Four Oaks, NC; his niece, Destiny H. Johnson of Four Oaks, NC; a great-niece, Everlee M. Snider, and several aunts, uncles and cousins in NC and out of state.
