Fort Mill, SC: Mrs. Bethany Turlington Sayre, age 71, of Callahan Road, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at Hospice and Community Care of Rock Hill surrounded by her loving family. The Sayre Family will be holding a private graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Officiating will be Pastor Terry Howell.
Mrs. Sayre was born in Harnett County to the late Charles Thomas and Annie Ruth Wood Turlington. She was a graduate of Watts Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Sayre was a retired registered nurse and attended Father’s Vineyard in Spindale, NC.
Surviving include husband of 51years, J. Bourne Sayre of Fort Mill, SC; children, Bethanna Moore and husband, Alex of Fort Mill, SC, Charles Sayre of Mebane, Daniel Sayre and wife, Ruby of England; grandsons, Will McBrayer, Matthew McBrayer, John Parker Moore; sisters, Nancy Turlington and husband, David of Clayton, Lynn Hinson and husband, Bobby of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sayre will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. The family will not be present during this time.
Due to the current health concerns the family understands you are not able to join them for the graveside service. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. The Graveside Service will be available for viewing on Friday evening on the funeral home’s website. www.roseandgraham.com
