Benson, NC: Mrs. Betty Jackson Barefoot, age 75, of 5221 Meadowbrook Rd., passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 P.M.-Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Clayton Sutton and John Jernigan. Burial will follow at Blackmon Family Cemetery in Benson.

Mrs. Barefoot was born in Sampson County to the late Atlas and Glenda Edwards Jackson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Barefoot and brother, John B. Jackson. Mrs. Barefoot did many things throughout her life including farming and retail but most recently was a loving babysitter to her grandchildren and a homemaker. She attended Hood’s Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving include her children, Brenda Evans and husband, Steve, Linda Johnson and husband Neal, John Wayne Barefoot and wife, Alicia, Mary Massengill and husband, Jason, and Kevin Barefoot and wife, Valerie; grandchildren, Skyler Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Glenn Evans, Stephanie Barefoot, Jason Barefoot, Brittney Barefoot, Michael Barefoot, Jessica Barefoot, Chelsea Barefoot, Cassidy Barefoot, Haley Renn, Tiffany Grant, Mary Grant, Toby Marshall, Elaina Westbrook, Anthony Westbrook, Braxton Massengill, and Kenneth Barefoot; great grandchildren, Sophia Barefoot, Savannah Melendez, Miles Jackson, and Huxley Evans; brothers, Charles Jackson, and Thomas Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home.
