Smithfield – Billie Jean Jones Allen, age 83, died Wednesday night, October 31, 2018 in Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehab in Smithfield. Born September 18, 1935 in Johnston County she was the last surviving child of the late Bill and Nettie Worley Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Allen. Billie Jean was a member of Tee’s Chapel FWB Church in Smithfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday just prior to the service.
Surviving are her sons, Benny Allen and wife Pat, Bobby Allen, Jr., and Joseph L. Allen, all of Smithfield; grandchildren, Denise Oliver, Gary Allen, and Jordan Ivey Allen; great grandchildren, Zack Oliver and Tara Newton; and many nieces and nephews.
