Selma – Billy Acey Radford, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in his home. He was born on July 25, 1941, in Wayne County, a son of the late William Acey and Minnie M. Radford. He is preceded in death by his brother Dee Loyld Radford.
Billy retired from Johnston Community College where he worked in the maintenance department. Billy was a member of Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed camping and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mrs. Martha Joe Radford, children, Tony Radford and wife Karen of Clayton, Stephen Radford and wife Tara of Raleigh, grandchildren, Tyler and Bradley Radford, brother, Bobby Radford of Middlesex, Sister Lavee Williford of Princeton, and sister, Kathy Johnson of Princeton.
