Bonnie Godwin Woodard, 82, passed away at Woodard Care in Goldsboro on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. She was born October 12, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Ellie Hugh Godwin and Zella Melissa Hines Godwin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cox Woodard; brothers, Wayne Godwin and Charles Godwin, and sister, Doris Turner. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations of Princeton.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
Mrs. Woodard was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church of Princeton. She was devoted to her church and served the church in may capacities.
She is survived by her daughter, Ree Woodard Wiley of Princeton; sister, Marie Whaley of Dunn; grandchildren, Rodney Nichols, David Wiley and Scott Wiley; great grandchildren, Tesla, Hannah, Gunner, Malle, and Jaxson and 1 great great grandchild, Carsyn
