Brenda Hester Braswell, 67, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020. She was born March 3, 1952 in Wayne County to the late William Gilmon Hester and Bettie Capps Hester. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Keith Braswell and her daughter, Crystal Michelle Braswell.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm with the Reverend Matthew Cornett officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
Brenda loved her family very much. She loved caring for her residents at Progressive Care. She also enjoyed and loved her animals. She really loved shopping.
She is survived by brothers, Glenn Hester (JoAnn) of Princeton and Gerald Hester (Blair) of Princeton; nephew, Scotty Hester (Ashley); nieces, Tracie H. Smith (Don), Ashley H. Myers (Landon), Alaina H. Weaver (Derek); great nephews and nieces, Garrett Smith, Landon Hester, Huntley Myers, Boone Weaver and Isla Myers.
Although flowers are welcome the family suggests that contributions be made in her memory to Brogden Fire Department, 7236 Brogden Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
