Smithfield- Brenda Gail Parker Cobb, age 72, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. Born January 24, 1949 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late John “JC” Calvin Parker and Myrtle Gray Johnson Parker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Franklin Cobb; and her son, James Ray Webb.
Brenda was a member of the Princeton Baptist Church in Princeton and enjoyed her Christian TV shows and radio stations. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, her flowers, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She loved to spend time with her special great grand baby Edin Gray Allen.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori McLamb and husband Jerome of Four Oaks; brothers, Gordon Wayne Parker of Pine Level; Preston Franklin Mayo and wife Sandra of Bentonville; grandchildren, Jessica Allen and husband Colby of Four Oaks; Matthew Edwards and wife Caroline of Princeton; Gloria Beth McLamb of Four Oaks; special great grand baby Edin Gray Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
