Smithfield – Brenda Carolyn Jackson Rodriguez, age 71, died Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Smithfield. Born December 1, 1946 in Erwin, NC she was a daughter of the late Warren and Lillian Everett Jackson. She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Linwood “Woody” Tyndall; sisters, Mary Denning, Connie Rowe, and Rudy Jackson; and brother, James “Eb” Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service. Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday in Erwin Memorial Park.
Surviving are her husband, Tony Rodriguez of Smithfield; brothers, Ronnie Jackson of Princeton and Warren Jackson, Jr. of Elizabeth City; sister, Joann Whitney of Dover; grandson, Linwood Tyndall and wife Crystal; and great granddaughter, Bailey Tyndall.
