Selma – Brenda Jeanette Weaver Wall, age 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 18, 2021, in UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. She was born a daughter of the late C.R. Weaver and Gladys Barnes Weaver on November 16, 1944, in Johnston County. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Carlton Wall, daughter, Pat Wall Tyree, brother, Kenneth Weaver, sisters, Libby Weaver and Linda Boyette. Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved to read her Bible, and listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, watching old shows and spending time with her family. She was a member of Untied Faith Christian Church in Selma.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jasper Renfrow officiating, in the United Faith Christian Church Cemetery in Selma. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Tim Wall of Kenly (companion Jennifer Ferrell) of Bailey, daughters, Kimberley Adams (husband Earl) of Four Oaks, Becky Hurley (husband Sean) of Middlesex, son-in-law, Richard Tyree (wife Deedee) of Selma, brothers, Melvin Weaver of FL, Richard Weaver of Kenly, sisters, Faye Hooks Wilson of Moncure, Carol Pierce of Four Oaks, Audrey Stott of Sims, Mary Winslow of Maggie Valley, grandchildren, Chris Barbour, Amanda McDaniel, Ricky Tyree, Hannah Bailey, Michael Hurley, Jeff Alejandro, Jerry Strickland, Justin Holloman, Jonathan Holloman, seven great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
