Selma – Brenda Sue Pender Sheets, age 76, died Monday evening, October 18, 2021 in Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. Born February 6, 1945 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late George Dewey and Pattie Little Pender. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Rex Sheets; daughter, Bridgette Stewart; and many brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery in Pine Level. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home just prior to the service.
Surviving are her sons, Jeff Stewart and wife Dena of Micro and Glenn Sheets and wife Kristie of Selma; daughter, Bobbie Barbour and husband Michael of Smithfield; twin sister, Glenda Daughtry of Princeton; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one on the way in January.
