Clayton – Brian Keith Karnes, age 59, died Thursday evening, March 12, 2020 in Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. Born August 5, 1960 in Danville, VA he was a son of the late Daniel Wayne and Sandra Sexton Karnes. In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Surviving are his wife, Leslie Karnes; son, Zachary Levi Karnes; daughter, Danielle Elaine Karnes, both of Clayton; brother, Timothy Karnes; sister, Kim Karnes, both of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Aubree Karnes and Grayson Moore.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
