He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dawn Thompson; 3 sons; Eric of Bailey, NC, Zachary of Greenville, NC, and Brandon of Fuquay-Varina; his daughter, Madelyn of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Shelia Johnson and husband Keith of Four Oaks; nephews, Michael and Raney, niece Jera, and 2 great nephews and a niece, Liam, Raelynn and Carson.
