Raleigh, NC: Carol Gene Jones, age 75, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Cary Alliance Church in Cary. A Private Burial will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park in Raleigh. Pastor Mitchell Gregory will officiate.
Carol was born on October 21, 1944 in Wake County to Evelyn Johnson Jones of Raleigh and the late Felix Eugene Jones. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Slade. Carol was a retired nurse and was a member of Cary Alliance Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother include her sisters, Becky Mann and husband, Charles; and Angela Wilson and Fiancé, Roger Dunn; many nieces and nephews.
