Clayton – Carol Marie Kirby, age 59, passed away Tuesday February 2, 2021 at her home in Clayton. She was born in Hillsborough County, FL on August 23, 1961 to John Alford Curington and Barbara Hopson Curington. She is preceded in death by her father; a brother, John Curington Jr and a sister, Wanda McClean;
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday February 6, 2021 at 10 am at Pisgah Baptist Church in Smithfield. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Kirby is survived by loving husband, Craig Kirby of Clayton; Mother, Barbara Curington of Clayton; son, Matthew Green of Clayton; grandchildren, Nicholas Green, Alison Green, Alaina Green; step son, Ryan Kirby and wife Helen; step grandchildren, Elijah, Tessa, Josiah and Amelia Kirby; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kirby was a member at Pisgah Baptist Church in Smithfield. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her garden and yard, decorating, collecting antiques, crafting, watching birds, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.
