Four Oaks – Carolyn Faye Watkins Myers, age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. She was born on July 29, 1940, a daughter of the late Hack and Eula Mae Watkins in Johnston County. She is preceded in death by her son, Andy Myers as well as seven brothers and sisters. She was a member of Believers Baptist Church in Wilson’s Mills. She was a godly woman who loved everyone she knew. She was known for being and excellent caregiver and always looked after her family. She was a loving wife, mother, caring grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with the burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
She is survived by her husband of sixty four years Mr. Billy Myers, son, Danny Myers (wife Katherine) of Selma, Sylvia Baker (husband Gary) of Kenly, grandchildren, Stephen Myers, Teresa Boswell, Stephanie Stewart, Amy Myers, Shanna Hodges, Garren Baker, Brook Myers, Cheyenne Myers, Andrew Myers, twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
