Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Catholine Peacock Price, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held 6:00PM Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church, Four Oaks. Rev. David Brantley will officiate. Burial will follow in Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was born on August 4, 1935 to the late Willie Eric and Bertha Mae Webb Peacock. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Valton Peacock, Dallas Peacock, Sherrill Peacock, and Ray Peacock. She was a homemaker and worked in the textile industry. She was a member of Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Samuel C. Price Sr.; children, Dianne Butler and husband, Ricky of Benson, Roger Price and wife, Pam of Four Oaks, Sam Price Jr. and wife, Dina of Four Oaks, Cathy Beasley and husband, Danny of Benson; nine grandchildren, Jamie Butler, Ashley and Katey Butler, Jonathan and Jade Butler, Drew Price, Lauren and Sean Parker, Samuel and Allison Price, Kaitlyn and Cameron Hall, Jordan and Heather Beasley, Kaylee Beasley; seven great-grandchildren, Logan Tyler, Josie Tyler, Samuel Butler, Abby Parker, Nolan Parker, Riley Price, Gerard “Gere” Hall; brothers, Gordon Peacock and wife, Lois of San Francisco, California, Russell Peacock and wife, Lois of Florence Mississippi, Larry Peacock and wife, Olia of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 4:30PM to 5:30PM Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
