Rocky Mount, NC: Mr. Cebor Warren Earp age 92, of 3609 Mansfield Drive, died Saturday at the Brian Center, Wilson. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Thursday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel Four Oaks. Burial will follow in Four Oaks City Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Officiating will be Rev. David Sutphin.
Mr. Earp was born in Harnett County on May 24, 1924 to the late James Edward and Lela Pope Earp. Mr. Earp was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Ruby Munden Earp; brothers and sisters, James Edward Earp, Jr., Deloyette Earp, Rothaline Lewis, Iris Etheridge, Becky Hardison, Callie Allen. He retired from Nationwide Insurance as District Sales Manager and a veteran of the National Guard and the Civil Air Patrol.
Surviving include daughter & son-in-law, Judith and Tom C. Sears of West Chester, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, David and Genie Earp of Cape Carteret; four grandchildren, Saralyn Earp, Rachel Earp, Jessica Sears, Emily Goodwin and husband, Taylor and two great-grandchildren Oliver Earp, Miles Goodwin; brothers and sisters, Bobby Earp of Dunn, Patty Lockamy of Dunn, Geraldine Dorman of Selma, Kitty Sexton of Fuquay-Varina, Ruth Lee of Dunn; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks from 10:30am to 11:30am prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, 600 W. College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
