Rev. Charles Ariel Campbell, age 89, of Smithfield, passed away on April 22, 2020 at his home. Born in Laurens County, South Carolina on December 23, 1931, he was the son of the late James Ray and Lila Gosnell Campbell. Rev. Campbell attended Bob Jones University.
Surviving are his son, Tim Campbell of Smithfield; daughters Mardelle Smith of Myrtle Beach and Debra Bradshaw of Terrell, NC; brothers, Jim Campbell of Burnsville, NC and Ken Campbell of Morrow, Ga; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
