Wilson’s Mills – Claire M. Stephens, age 82, passed away Sunday October 17, 2021 at UNC Rex hospital in Raleigh. She was born on February 23, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA to the late George and Anna Emberger Reed. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by husband of 53 years, Mike Stephens Sr. of Wilson’s Mill; son, Michael Stephens Jr and wife Rosa of Wilson’s Mill; daughters, Michelle Martinez and husband Ray of Clayton, Colleen Frisk of Oregon, Cathy Able of Washington; grandchildren, Zachary Stephens, Amarissa Stephens, Michael Stephens, Coral Martinez, Josh Martinez, Tiffany Hydemark, Dakota Frisk; great grandchildren, Jace and Bentley Stephens.
Mrs. Stephens enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, cooking, baking and family dinners in her spare time.
