Smithfield – Clarence Dalbert Coon, age 77, died Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home. Born December 16, 1940 in Clearfield, PA, he was a son of the late Archie F. and Barbara Shaw Coon. He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance in Angier, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Glover and the Rev. Daniel Kirk officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara M. Coon; son, Daniel Coon and wife Candace of Clayton; daughter, Sunni Coon and husband Tony Davis of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Ronald Coon of Prentice, WI and Mark Coon of Clearfield, PA; sister, Iris Myers of Spring Grove, PA and two grandchildren, Sydney Davis and Atley Coon.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
