Clifford Dan Parkton, Jr., 63, of Smithfield passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehab in Smithfield. He was born November 24, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Clifford Dan Parkton, Sr., and Alice Bissette Parkton. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with the Reverend Marvin Ownley and the Reverend Vernon Braswell officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Bass Parkton; son, Joe Parkton of Colorado Spring, Colorado; daughter, Tabitha Phillips of Rosewood; step-daughter, Connie Carter of Smithfield, Libby Young of Princeton; 4 grandchildren, Corbin Phillips, Christina Young, Shannon Chinn and Harley Carter; 2 great grandchildren, Little Dustin Chinn, and Paisley Chinn.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel.
