Smithfield- Clifton Garrett McLeod, age 32, of Smithfield passed away on January 28, 2017. Born in Johnston County on January 18, 1985, he was the son of Melvin Dennis McLeod and the late Becky Minshew McLeod.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving in addition to his father are his sons, Waylen and Ace McLeod and their mother Liz Tyler; and his paternal grandmother Dean Hetherly of Dunn.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in the son’s names and contributions may be made to any State Employee’s Credit Union.
