Selma – Connie Johnson Moore, age 70, died Wednesday afternoon at her home. Born June 30, 1947 in Wilson County to the late William Robert and Mary Frances Pope Johnson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy Sitter officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. just prior to the service.
Surviving are her husband Ray Moore; daughter, Dodie Headley and husband Cole of Selma; brother, Raymond Johnson of Selma; sisters, Marsha Barfield of Kenly and Renee Futch of Kenly and two grandchildren, Grayson Headley and Lanie Headley.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
