Pikeville—Connie Pipkin Farmer, 67, passed away at her home on September 23, 2018 after a period of declining health. Born on October 12, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lester Mark and Zettie Esther Collins Pipkin. Connie was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for about 10 years, and later served as the Assistant Activities Director at Barbour Ct. for another 10 years.
A memorial service is planned at 7 PM on Friday, October 12th at Holt’s Pond Church of God, 1263 Progressive Church Rd, Princeton, NC with Reverend Jimmy Earp officiating.
Surviving are daughter, Sherri Massey and husband Ronnie of Pikeville; grandchildren, Amber Brewer and Mackenzie Massey; great-granddaughter Ainsley.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Basil Farmer, III; her brothers, Ronnie and Rex Pipkin; and her sister, Diane Pipkin Garcia.
