Mrs. Constance Elizabeth Butts-Bailey, was born September 4, 1956 in Baltimore, Md. Her parents were Clyde & Gussie Butts. She attended public schools in Baltimore. After her schooling she moved to North Carolina where she was blessed with four wonderful children; Shawntell Butts, Samontanie Butts, Aviance Butts, and Jacquetta Butts. Constance “Connie” married Howard Earl Bailey and together raised the four children.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband Howard Earl, four children; Shawntell, Samontaine, Aviance, Jacquetta, four grandchildren; thirteen great grand-children; one brother; Paul Caldwell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Bailey are scheduled for Saturday February 2, 2019 at St. James Church of Christ 9573 Highway 222 West Middlesex, NC. Viewing starts at 1:00pm followed by funeral services at 2:00pm.
