Courtnay Raynel McLean Stewart, 37 of Dunn, NC passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington, NC after an extended battle with cancer. She was born on April 1, 1980 to Evestus and the late Beulah Lewis McLean. She graduated from Triton High Class of 1998. She furthered her education at Miller- Mott College with a degree in Medical Office Technology. Countnay worked at various establishments which included Goody’s, Hardee’s, Food Lion and Walmart.
She is survived by her father, Evestus McLean; husband, Gary Stewart of Killeen, Texas, two daughters, Shaquana McLean of Dunn, NC and Makayla Stewart of Killeen, Texas; four sons, Jalen and Jemalle Cameron of Dunn, NC, Jamarius and Jacory Stewart of Killeen, Texas; a sister, Cynthia Lewis of the home; a brother, Christopher McLean of Lillington, NC; three grandsons; a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 9th at 12:30 PM at The Cape Fear Conference Headquarters in Erwin, NC. Funeral will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Dunn, NC.
