KENLY – Dallas Ray Alberts, age 77, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born January 17, 1940 in Phillips County, CO to the late Voris Franklin and Clara Maxine Critchlow Alberts, he was a US Navy veteran. Dallas was a member of the Kenly Missionary Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Kenly Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bryce Pinson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Welch Alberts; son, Von Ryan Alberts and wife Andrea of Clayton; daughters, Stephanie Alberts Corella and husband Mike of Kenly and Ana Alberts Schultz and husband Dane of Hemet, CA; sister, Margo Ann Simon of Hereford, AZ; eight grandchildren, Alexandria Boydstun and husband George, Calin Alberts, Victoria Pinson and husband Bryce, Sage Smith, Mario Aycock, Timothy Elliott, Tianna Alberts and Chloe Vlahos and four great grandchildren, Everleigh Boydstun, Dakota Pinson, Holden Boydstun and Judah Pinson.
