Zebulon – Danny Ray Parrish, age 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in his home in Zebulon. He was born on February 28, 1956, a son of Louis and Letha Parrish in Johnston County. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Parrish, and brother, Terry Parrish. Danny retired from the city of Raleigh after thirty years of service. He was a member of Branch Chapel FWB Church in Selma, where he served as a deacon for more than thirty years. Danny loved horseback riding and carpentry work, but most importantly he loved his family.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Branch Chapel FWB Church in Selma with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Susan Lee Parrish, mother, Letha Parrish, sons, Jonathan Parrish (wife Katie) of Princeton, Phillip Parrish (girlfriend Allison Batten) of Zebulon, sisters, Wanda Smith (husband Larry) of Sneads Ferry, Sheila Paige (fiancé Brad) of Clayton, Bonnie Donleycott (husband Patrick) of Clayton, grandson, Preston Carroll, family friends, Amber and Ryan Langston of Clayton, many nieces and nephews.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to Branch Chapel FWB Church.
