Danny Ray Worley, age 70, of Kenly passed away on December 18, 2020 at Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born in Johnston County on May 20, 1950, he was the son of the late Leland Ray and Grady Bell Collins Worley. Mr. Worley was a retired heavy equipment mechanic with R.N. Rouse & Company.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, at 3:00 pm in the Pearce Cemetery on Bizzell Grove Church Road near Selma.
Surviving are three sons, Danny Wayne Worley of Kenly, Kevin Ray Worley of Pikeville, and Braxton Keith Worley of Goldsboro; sisters, Carol Hodge of Kenly and Kathy Myers of Selma; grandchildren, Alyssa Worley, Ryan Anthony Worley, Chris (Jennifer) Shambaugh, Kaleb Worley, and Christian Worley; and great grandchildren Colby and Jordan Shambaugh.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
