David Arthur Hosford, 58, passed away peacefully Monday evening at the SECU Hospice House surrounded by his loving wife.
David was born March 18, 1959 in Orange County, California to Clifford Hosford and the late Mae Maxine Weir Hosford. He attended the Smithfield Church of God. David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force working in Environmental Systems. Following retirement from the Air Force David worked in tech support with IBM. He had a passion for computers and loved all types of computer games.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service with the Rev. Ramon Mizell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to his father, David is survived by his loving wife of fifteen years, Jonell Aycock Hosford; and his brothers, George Hosford and wife Toni of Utah, Howard Hosford and wife Connie of Florida, and Jerry Hosford of Kenly.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Road, Smithfield NC, 27577.
