Princeton – David Earl Sullivan, “Cool Breeze”, age 68, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. He was born on December 31, 1952, a son of the late Lester and Alvie Sullivan in Johnston County. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Doug Sullivan and Donald Sullivan. David enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and baseball. He will be missed by all his loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sullivan Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Burdette (husband Chris) of Princeton, sisters, Edna Hinson of Dunn, and Joyce Boyette of Wilmington, grandchildren, Hunter Burdette (wife Alyssa), Josh Burdette (wife Meghen).
