David Michael “Mike” Pate
March 21, 1954 – December 5, 2021
David Michael “Mike” Pate, 67, of Chesterfield, Virginia, and formerly of Micro, NC; passed away on December 5, 2021. He was the son of the late David Earl Pate and Betsy Ross Pate. He was also preceded in death by his significant other, Vicki Bowman; and his grandson, Jay Hoffman.
Mike enjoyed a career spanning 40 years as a Shift Supervisor at Honeywell before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and loved sports, especially the Washington Football Team and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Mike is survived by his children, Jodie Pate Howell, Melissa Green (Michael), Clinton Pate, Craig Elder, Karen Jarrelle, James Elder and Ray Bullock all of Virginia; grandchildren, Hayden and Parker Forman, Astrid and Sienna Green, Madelyne Elder and Heather Hoffman all of Virginia; and siblings, Judy Pate of Princeton, NC and Donnie Pate (Kay) of Newport, NC.
The family will receive friends between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Sons Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. Interment will be private.
