SNOW HILL – David Timothy Lamm was born to Sarah Frances Heath Lamm and Moses Randolph Lamm on December 15, 1950 in Kinston, NC and passed away at his home in Snow Hill, NC on February 12, 2020.
Tim was known locally for his vocal and dramatic talent and keen intellect. He attended Snow Hill and Greene County Schools and the University of North Carolina with additional training in computer main frame science at Pitt County Community College.
His early career was spent as a vocalist and saxophonist with musical groups in eastern North and South Carolina. He owned and operated Special Occasions, a formal wear and costume rental retail shop in Greenville, NC.
He later established, owned and operated a private computer programming consulting corporation and made his home in Atlantic Beach, NC. His professional career included Project Management and Programming for many large corporations, Sara Lee, Duke Energy, BlueCross Blue Shield, GlaxoSmithKline and banking operations in Philadelphia, Pa.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Charlie.
Tim is survived by his uncle, Carl Lamm of Four Oaks, NC; good lifelong friends and several cousins in the eastern NC area.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM Saturday, February 15th, at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
