Kenly – Dawn Marie Cooke Stoner, 45, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her home. Born in Wayne County on November 18, 1973, she was the daughter of Bonnie Marie Blizzard and the late William Henry Cooke.
Dawn was a homemaker, loving wife and mother, and a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
In addition to her mother, Dawn is survived by her husband, Shawn Stoner; son, Cole Tyler Stoner; sister; Nancy Ham; grandmother; Marie Smith; and father and mother-in-law, Jack and Nancy Stoner.
Dawn was preceded in death by her grandfather; Tom Smith, and family friend, Joe Cox.
