Benson, NC: Mr. Donnie McLamb, age 66, of 278 Reedy Prong Church Rd., died Tuesday at his residence. Funeral Service will be Friday 11:00AM at New Zealand PFWB Church, 5312 Meadowbrook Rd, Benson, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Atkinson. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. McLamb was born December 22, 1950 in Harnett County to the late Robert Gerald and Zadie Pearl Lee McLamb. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy M. Johnson; brother, Glenn McLamb and great-grandson, Westyn McLamb. Mr. McLamb was a self-employed drywall contractor and also a member of New Zealand Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Benson.
Surviving are wife of 47 years, Julia Noles McLamb; children and spouses, John Louis and Christy McLamb and Amy M. and Jamie Tyndall all of Benson; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie & Dr. Donna McLamb of Dobson; grandchildren and spouses, Johnathan and Allison McLamb, Dustyn and Caitlyn McLamb, Dylan McLamb, Taylor McLamb, Tyler Tyndall and Jacoby Tyndall; great-grandchildren, Brooks McLamb and Austyn McLamb; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.
