Dunn, NC: Mrs. Doris Beasley Lee Morgan, age 84, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Jonesboro Baptist Church, Dunn, NC. Revs. Leon Tart, Billy Hundley and Charles Price will officiate. Burial will follow in the McLamb Family Cemetery, Benson, NC.
Mrs. Morgan was born on May 10, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Son Beasley and Hattie McLamb Beasley Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Billie Lee and Turner Morgan and a grandson, Joshua Hughes. She was a homemaker, loved her family, and was a member of Jonesboro Baptist Church, Dunn, NC.
Surviving include her son, Johnny Lee and wife, Rene; daughters, Peggy Lee and husband, David, and Bonnie Stanley and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Jami Desentz, Billie Thorne and husband, David, and Mackenzie Stanley, great-grandchildren, Zachary Desentz and Jameson Thorne, sisters, Dorene Bass and Florine Johnson; brother, Valton Beasley; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Morgan will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 1:00PM-5:00PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time. They are receiving friends at Mrs. Morgan’s home.
