Smithfield – Doris Inez Browning White, age 88, died Friday morning, May 5, 2017 in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born January 22, 1929 in Johnston County she was the daughter of Samuel Heath and Sadie Inez Jones Browning. She was preceded in death by her sons, Terry Lynn Canady and James Aaron Canady, Sr. She was a member of New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church in Kenly.
A graveside service will be conducted at a later date.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Goodling and husband John of Selma; and grandchildren, Krystal Goodling and Brian Goodling.
