Mrs. Doris Marie Foye, age 83 of Selma, NC died on Tuesday April 14, 2020 at Johnston UNC Health Hospital Smithfield, NC. Ms. Foye was born April 6, 1937 in Johnston County. She was the daughter of the late Roy Foye and Mary Geneva Stancil Foye of Selma, NC. Three siblings preceded her in death, John Foye, Helen Foye and Edward Foye.
She is survived by six siblings; Alice Minter (Dave), Shirley Faison (Robert), Roy Foye, Robert Foye, Rudy Foye (Regina), Ophelia Trumilla Armstrong (James) 2 sister-in-laws Leola Foye, Sarah Foye and a special caregiver Bridget McMillan a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Friends and family may come by Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Chapel, Monday April 20, 2020 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, to pay their respects. Due to current circumstances with COVID-19, the family may not be present during the time of viewing. A private graveside service will be held in the Selma Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
