Willow Spring – Dorothy Grey Sullivan, age 80, passed away Friday April 9, 2021 at her home in Willow Spring. She was born in Johnston County on November 13, 1940 to the late James Hildred and Ruth Sullivan Twisdale. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by step father, Audred Fowler; husband, Tommy Sullivan; brother, Gene Twisdale.
A graveside service will take place at Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 11 AM. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM to 11 AM.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by sons, Neil Sullivan and wife Martha of Fuquay Varina, Shel Sullivan of Willow Spring; daughters, Connie Denning and husband Robert of Willow Spring, Crystal Elliott and husband Mike of Whitakers; grandchildren, Jason Sullivan, Jeremy Sullivan and wife Erin, Logan Elliott, Jennifer Sullivan, Jamie Martin, Christin Martin-Humphrey; great grandchildren, Austin Sullivan, William Sullivan, John Williams, Bladen Sullivan, Jayla Martin, Caleigh Humphrey, Jacob Lee Humphrey; fur babies, Oscar and Daisy. Mrs. Sullivan enjoyed reading, gardening, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
