Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Dorothy Mills Munden, age 93, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Transitions Life Care Center in Raleigh surrounded by her loving family. Private Services will be held by the Munden Family. Officiating will be Rev. Grace Hargis.
Mrs. Munden was born on April 27, 1928 in Baker County, Georgia to the late Columbus Washington and Mattie Wiggins Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Milton Munden; sisters, Ethel Mills Eason and Laverne Brooks. Mrs. Munden retired from retail and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.
Survivors include her children, Mark Munden and wife, Connie of Clayton and Beth Blanchard and husband, Sam of Buies Creek; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church, P.O. Box 357 Four Oaks, NC 27524.
