Selma – Edna Earle Penny Faison, age 86, of Dillwyn, VA, formerly of Selma, passed away on January 1, 2018. Born in Harnett County on October 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Lena Bashby Boone Penny. Her husband was the late Norwood A. Faison. Mrs. Faison was a member of Selma Presbyterian Church, but was attending Antioch Union Baptist Church in Dillwyn, VA.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 5, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will be in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1-2PM.
Surviving are her sons, Wayne Faison and wife Jewel of Selma, Rev. Brian Faison and wife Karen of Dillwyn, VA, David Faison and wife Rita of Garner; daughter Ruth Sullivan and husband Steve of Pine Level; grandchildren Hannah Morgan and husband Brennon, Mark Faison, Rebekah Faison, Elizabeth Faison, Derrick Wagner, Devin Wagner and Richard Wagner; and four great grandchildren.
