Pine Level – Edna Gaye Barefoot Creech, age 74, passed away Friday November 5, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born in Wilson County on December 6, 1946 to the late Carlyle and Virgie Glover Barefoot.
A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Tuesday November 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service in Hills of the Neuse Cemetery.
Mrs. Creech is survived by husband of 57 years, Stephen Creech of Pine Level; daughters, Amy Radford and husband Mike of Princeton, Renee Price and husband Ricky of Pine Level, Crystal Sherron and husband Matt of Willow Springs; sisters, Sue McLamb and husband Glenn of Pine Level, Kathy Eason and husband Tommy of Pine Level; grandchildren, Dale Price, Michael Radford, Katelynn Mangaro, Jacob Price, Jackson Sherron, Dylan Sherron, Michaela Radford; 3 great grandchildren; special care giver, Fannie Brown of Goldsboro.
Mrs. Creech was a member of Creech’s Primitive Baptist Church. She loved helping people, flowers, and shopping.
