NC: Mr. Edwin Glenn Tyndall, age 62, of Bailey’s Crossroads Road, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Revs. Donnie Barbour and James Gurkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Tyndall was born on September 11, 1957 in Sampson County to the late Edwin Ray and Helen Johnson Tyndall. As a child in 1970 he won the Junior Hollerin’ Contest in Spivey’s Corner. Mr. Tyndall was a mechanic and owned and operated Tyndall Enterprises. He was a devoted Christian and member of Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church where he served as deacon, trustee, treasurer, musician, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher. Mr. Tyndall stood on his faith and believed as Isaiah 53: 5 states, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Surviving include his wife of 43 years, Sarah N. Tyndall; sons, Bobby Glenn Tyndall and wife, Theresa of Benson, David Edwin Tyndall and wife, Alexandra of Apex; grandchildren, Ethan G. Tyndall, Evan P. Tyndall, Isaac E. Tyndall, Wesley T. Tyndall; brother, Jimmy Tyndall and wife, Pandora of Roseboro; sister-in-law, Louise Stone and husband, Terry of Erwin; two special nephews, Wesley and Jeremy Tyndall; beloved pet, Nate.
Mr. Tyndall will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book prior to the service from 1:30PM to 2:45PM at Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, June 18, 2020. The family is meeting at the home and following the graveside service.
Flowers are welcomed, however, memorials be may be made to one’s favorite charity.
