    Clayton – Elizabeth Ann Boone DeHaven, age 64, died Wednesday evening, September 12, 2018 in WakeMed in Raleigh. Born October 29, 1953 in Pelion, SC she was a daughter of Patricia Lucas Boone of Pelion, SC and the late Luther Garner Boone. Ann was an active member and regularly helped lead her Sunday school class at Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield, North Carolina. Ann previously worked as a pharmacy technician in Clayton and Smithfield. She was best known for her kind heart and willingness to help others. Some of her talents involved crafting, crocheting, sewing, and baking homemade goods which she loved to gift to others. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother known for caring for others in the community.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. William Holliday officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Extension in Smithfield. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday just prior to the service.
    Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 46 years, Hubert DeHaven; daughters, Stephanie Hudson and husband Eddie of Mt. Olive and Tracy Curtis and husband Lucas of Smithfield; sister, Charlene Howard of Pelion, SC; grandchildren, Joel Parham, Hunter Hudson, Zachary Parham, Aubrey Parham, and Heather Hudson; and much-loved Yorkshire terrier, Yoshi.
    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield.
