Ella Mae Brady Hatcher, age 91, of Selma, passed away on May 22, 2018. Born in Johnston County on June 29, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Millard and Ella Catherine Thompson Brady. Her husband was the late Leon Benard Hatcher. She was a member of Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Barnett and Rev. Mack Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her son, David Hatcher and wife Kay of Pine Level; daughter, Frances Strickland and husband Jerry of Smithfield; grandchildren, Matt Strickland and Lance Strickland, Karen Murray and husband William, Kasey Barnett and husband Justin; and great grandchildren, Kara Murray, Kelci Murray, Taryn Barnett and Jackson Barnett.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10-11 am, just prior to the service.
