Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Ellen Lawhon Beasley, age 85, of 1916A Strickland’s Crossroads Road died Wednesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Graveside Services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Pauline Baptist Church in Four Oaks. Rev. Marshall Stewart will officiate.
Mrs. Beasley was born on October 12, 1932 in Johnston County to the late Jim and Myrtle Ione Overby Lawhon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jady Beasley. Mrs. Beasley was a farmer, a homemaker, and a nursing assistant.
Surviving are daughters Velda Jay and Michael Callam of Four Oaks, Jennifer Jan Beasley and Ginger Kim Carroll both of Four Oaks; brother, Thel Lawhon of Smithfield, many adopted grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
