Selma, NC: Mrs. Emma Frances Young, age 79 of 1241 Fire Tower Road passed away on Monday at Johnston UNC Healthcare in Smithfield. Graveside Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Faith Free Will Baptist Church outside Four Oaks. Officiating will be Mr. William Smith.
Mrs. Young was born on November 9, 1938 in Johnston County to the late William and Esther Lawhon Worrells. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert T. Harper and Gerald Young and a brother, William Tom Worrells. Mrs. Young was a retired farmer and home maker and was also a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Janet Harper of Selma; Sherrie Harper and Manuel Garcia, Robin and Ricky Sasser and Karen and Jason Guseman all of Smithfield; grandchildren, Katie and Travis Edmundson, Anna Sasser, Alex Garcia, Tyler Sasser, Daniel Garcia and Avery Guseman; great-granddaughter, Evie Edmundson; sister, Wilma Creech and Arthur Crocker of Princeton; many nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive friends following the graveside at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 460 Webb Mill Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
